Resonant Body: Sound Through Movement
for movement and electronics, a collaboration with Waeli Wang, c. 25’

Using motion sensors, Waeli and I created a work structured in six scenes that translates their movement into sound. Using ideas like rotation, speed, and height of different sensors on their wrists, chest, and ankle, the motion triggers different sounds, and processes the score using different audio effects.

Each of the six scenes explores different movement patterns. The video included here labels a highlighted movement for each excerpt to show the connection between Waeli’s movement and my sound.
